GST/HST filing
For our business clients we can handle all your filing requirements for GST/HST. We can calculate the amounts for you or use your calculations. We can cater our services to meet your filing needs (quarterly or annually).
Personal tax filing
We have over 30 years’ experience with filing personal tax returns and have extensive knowledge with employee expense claims such as meals claims for traveling employees or commission employee expense claims. Contact us and see what we can do for you.
Corporate tax filing
Capital Accounting will prepare your Federal T2 corporate tax return and provincial tax return (if applicable) as part of our year-end service. We will work with you to make sure we are taking advantage of all available tax deductions to reduce your corporate tax liability.
T4 slip and summary filing
If you require a T slip to be issued from your company, we can help. Everything from T4’s to T5’s to T5018 contractor payments and more, we can assist you with their preparation.
Financial statements (Notice to Reader)
As part of our year-end service we will prepare formal financial statements for your business. These notice to reader statements include a balance sheet, income statement and statement of retained earnings. Other financial statements are available, let us know what you need.
Tax planning
An additional part of our year-end service is providing effective tax planning for both the company and its owners. No two companies or owners are alike so we take time to discuss your needs to determine the best action to take regarding your tax obligations.
